About This Role
- Lead design and development of scalable, secure Java-based microservices and software systems, ensuring code quality and architectural soundness.
- Manage and mentor an engineering team, providing hands-on technical leadership including code reviews, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with business goals, focusing on security and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant Java backend development.
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
- Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with GitLab, automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and cloud technologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in Java-based backend development with deep understanding of microservices and API integration in regulated or healthcare-related environments.
- Operationally strong, able to lead hands-on engineering efforts while managing architectural decisions and best practices.
- Comfortable collaborating with diverse teams such as product, UI/UX, data, and leadership to align technical execution with strategic objectives.
