About This Role
- Maintain and modernize ERP systems built on Informix 4GL and COBOL for Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment domains.
- Build APIs and wrapper services to integrate legacy ERP systems with modern platforms like Manhattan Active, ensuring high availability and operational accuracy.
- Own end-to-end ERP module life cycle, including troubleshooting, documentation of legacy business logic, and executing modernization/migration plans.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Informix 4GL, Informix SQL, and COBOL for ERP development and modernization.
- 5+ years of ERP development experience with Informix 4GL; 2+ years of COBOL development preferred.
- Experience with ERP domains: Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment; familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments (AIX preferred).
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 5 years ERP development experience; 2+ years COBOL experience preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in retail or supply chain ERP environments, particularly with legacy-to-modern system integration.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions within legacy ERP frameworks.
- Skills to refactor legacy Informix and COBOL code and introduce modern engineering practices such as CI/CD in legacy ERP environments.
