About This Role
- Own and operate the end-to-end video data pipeline from multi-camera raw capture rigs to training-ready datasets delivered to robotics labs.
- Design and maintain resilient ingest, transcoding, synchronization, quality checking, indexing, and delivery systems handling petabytes of video and telemetry data.
- Manage infrastructure cost efficiency, observability, and reliability; participate in on-call rotations and handle production incident troubleshooting.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience building and operating production-scale video or media processing systems.
- Hands-on experience with FFmpeg, GStreamer, or equivalent media frameworks including pipeline development and debugging under load.
- Strong knowledge of video codecs (H.264/HEVC/AV1) and container formats (MP4/fMP4).
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years in related video/media processing systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building distributed, resilient media processing systems with focus on multi-camera, multi-view video and telemetry synchronization.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure, object storage, workflow orchestration, and cost-efficient large media workloads.
- Capable of owning complex full lifecycle projects from design through operation, frequently interacting with cross-functional data collection teams.
