About This Role
- Own and extend the on-endpoint network proxy solution, intercepting and manipulating third-party software network traffic.
- Develop and optimize low-level collectors tracing data flows across apps, files, sockets, and pipes to feed a unified event stream.
- Design and build highly reliable, secure, and performant systems software that does not impact user experience and withstands real-world attacks.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in systems software, networking, proxy, or security engineering.
- Strong expertise in network interception and parsing with prior work on at least one forward proxy used by security software.
- Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing low-level system software performance.
- Availability to frequently communicate with a distributed engineering team across Central European and US Eastern time zones.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex application architecture for network proxy and security software.
- Comfortable working in an agile development environment with distributed cross-functional teams.
- Experience building secure-by-design software that processes untrusted data and communicates with backend systems over the internet.
