About This Role
- Manage product and process costing activities for contract manufacturing operations, including maintaining cost records and ensuring statutory compliance with Indian regulations.
- Analyze product costs, contribution margins, project costs, and variances; develop and monitor cost-control procedures and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting, coordinate cost audits under CRA Rules, and ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, transfer pricing, customs duties, and internal controls including SOX/Trelleborg ICS.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: CA, CMA/ICWAI, B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance.
- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing plant cost accounting, preferably within an MNC.
- Working knowledge of Companies Act 2013, GST, Income Tax, CRA Rules, Customs, and manufacturing regulations.
- ERP experience required, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced cost accountant familiar with contract manufacturing and subcontracting operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical expertise in product costing, variance analysis, cost controls, and compliance with Indian statutory and tax frameworks.
- Comfortable with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365), financial reporting, cost audits and internal control frameworks such as SOX.
