Staff Software Engineer

Provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, and evolution of a strategic Identity Graph & Signals platform integrating identities across people, devices, applications, and more.

Design and build highly available, secure, and scalable distributed services and ingestion pipelines for identity and security signals to support downstream security capabilities like authentication, access governance, and threat detection.

Influence engineering practices, establish architectural standards, lead design/code reviews, and mentor senior engineers to raise the platform and team’s engineering quality and capability.

Typically 12+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent depth of experience with complex production systems.

Proven Staff-level technical leadership experience across multiple engineers, teams, or domains.

Strong software engineering skills in at least one modern backend language (Java, Kotlin, Go, C#, Python, or equivalent).

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Experienced in designing and operating distributed, highly available, and scalable systems with event-driven architectures and high-volume data processing.

Strong background or interest in identity security domains including identity graph modelling, entity resolution, and real-time identity/security signal processing.

Effective technical influencer capable of making architectural decisions and improving engineering practices across teams without relying on formal authority.
