About This Role
- Architect and develop modern, high-quality Mac UI features for customer-facing desktop applications.
- Lead technical direction for Mac UI architecture and maintainability, making critical decisions on frameworks, patterns, and code quality.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver intuitive user experiences and improve engineering practices including use of AI tools.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years professional experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Strong hands-on development experience in Mac application engineering using Swift, Objective-C, and C/C++.
- Deep knowledge of macOS application architecture, UI frameworks, event-driven programming, and system-level behavior.
- Work Experience Required: 10+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior individual contributor with proven ability to drive architecture and technical decisions in Mac UI engineering without direct people management.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable, and performant native Mac desktop applications at scale.
- Comfortable operating in cross-functional environments partnering closely with product, design, backend, and QA teams and applying AI-driven engineering productivity tools.
