About This Role
- Lead development and maintenance of AS400 applications using COBOL, CL, and DB2 technologies.
- Participate in design and development of new product features with a focus on financial applications such as Loan, Credit Card, Mortgage, or Retail Banking.
- Mentor junior team members and support Agile development practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in AS400 development environment with strong skills in COBOL, CL, and DB2.
- Proficiency in RPG development including RPG, RPG III, RPGLE, Embedded SQL, and Free Format RPGLE.
- Strong knowledge of OS400 operating system, CL job control language, and job scheduling.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in financial domain applications involving Loan, Credit Card, Mortgage, or Retail Banking products.
- Demonstrates capability to lead module development and mentor junior developers.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and supporting legacy systems requiring maintenance and enhancement.
