Medium due to niche AUTOSAR and cybersecurity requirements, but metro location and known automotive employer.
High because deep AUTOSAR, automotive cybersecurity, and Infineon microcontroller expertise are required.
High due to explicit years and mandatory AUTOSAR, BSW, microcontroller, and toolchain requirements.
Lead development and integration of automotive software components across ASW, BSW, MCAL layers for BorgWarner Electrification Products ensuring software release requirements are met.
Plan and coordinate software integration and testing, including AUTOSAR system configuration and optimization in multicore environments, driving robust, scalable, reusable software solutions.
Mentor and coach team members, collaborate with global teams, influence software architecture decisions, and implement CI/CD frameworks to enhance software delivery and quality.
9-12 years total experience with minimum 5+ years in automotive BSW development and 3+ years as AUTOSAR software architect/integrator.
B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, Power Electronics, or Instrumentation.
Hands-on expertise in AUTOSAR Classic Architecture including BSW modules configuration (e.g., DCM, DEM, CANIF), communication stacks, bootloader, memory stacks, and automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS).
Experience with Vector DaVinci, ETAS ISOLAR, EB Tresos tools, embedded C/C++ development for multi-core microcontrollers, specifically Infineon TC 3xx; and exposure to ASPICE, Agile, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and cybersecurity standards.
Experienced technical leader capable of making architecture and integration decisions within automotive embedded software, particularly AUTOSAR and cybersecurity realms.
Strong background in hands-on embedded software development and debugging within multicore/multithreaded environments using microcontrollers, with deep knowledge of software build and CI/CD toolchains.
Able to mentor engineers and interface across multidisciplinary teams including software managers, architects, test engineers, and customers to deliver complex automotive software solutions.
