About This Role
- Lead end-to-end application architecture and design for Finance Desk Technology, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise solutions.
- Own technical leadership including mentorship, code reviews, enforcing engineering best practices, and risk assessment for software delivery.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholder teams to integrate systems, define enhancements, and deliver projects aligned with strategic technology roadmap.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- 12+ years in application development with at least 3 years in technical leadership roles.
- Strong core Java skills including JDBC/JPA, Hibernate, Junit, Spring Boot, microservices, and restful APIs.
- Experience with cloud-based architectures (OpenShift Kubernetes), Unix/Linux, and event-driven/API-led architectures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in securities financing transaction processing or financial markets application domains.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor globally distributed development teams and work cross-functionally with product, QA, and DevOps.
- Demonstrates ownership of architecture standards, robust system design, and delivery of measurable business outcomes in complex environments.
