About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient enterprise-grade solutions on a cloud-native MDM platform with a focus on mainframe modernization.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions aligned with business priorities.
- Apply mainframe expertise across full development lifecycle including analysis, development of mainframe and microservices solutions, API integration, and cloud deployment.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–10 years of software development experience with large mainframe-based systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar subject.
- Hands-on experience with mainframe languages and technologies: COBOL, CICS, VSAM, MQ Series, JCL, SQL, File-AID, Endevor, debugging tools, schedulers, and DB2 database management.
- Location requirement: Bangalore; Hybrid work model with two weeks onsite and shift timing from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep expertise in mainframe ecosystem with ability to perform impact analysis and drive performance optimizations in CICS environments supporting high-volume, latency-sensitive applications.
- Experience integrating mainframe systems with cloud-native architectures and familiarity with REST and SOAP services.
- Proven ability to lead analysis, provide estimates, scope projects, debug issues, and support production software releases within an enterprise environment.
