About This Role
- Lead design and implementation of highly available and fault-tolerant AWS-based infrastructure for critical financial services, ensuring 99.99% availability targets.
- Drive complex incident response, postmortem processes, and maintain SLOs/SLIs to improve platform reliability and scalability.
- Mentor engineers, collaborate with development teams on architectural decisions, and automate operations to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 4-7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent role managing large-scale production systems.
- Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (advanced knowledge), Terraform (expert-level), Python and/or Go programming, and observability tools like Datadog or Splunk.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps principles/tools (ArgoCD or Flux), networking, security, and compliance in financial services context.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced SRE with a strong background in AWS cloud architecture and multi-cluster Kubernetes environments at scale.
- Demonstrated leadership in incident management and mentoring junior engineers with measurable outcomes in reliability and efficiency.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code, automation, and implementing operational excellence in regulated financial or payments industry environments.
