About This Role
- Design and implement scalable full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Develop backend services and build frontend user experiences while optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability across PayPal’s global commerce systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions covering the entire Software Development Lifecycle with minimal supervision.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, Node.js, and experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases and knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced full-stack engineer with a background in building scalable, high-performance applications in fintech or payment processing domains preferred.
- Capable of independently handling end-to-end development tasks from design through operations with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and making technical decisions aligned with industry best practices and internal conventions.
