About This Role
- Lead design and development of secure, high-quality software solutions across multiple business functions within Commercial & Investment Bank technology products.
- Drive adoption and operationalize enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational stability of software applications.
- Evaluate architectural designs and technical credentials from vendors, startups, and internal teams to ensure alignment with existing systems and business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and practical cloud native experience.
- Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and establishing secure, validated AI engineering workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security), and financial services IT systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading AI-assisted software development tool adoption with ability to enforce validation standards and safe use in engineering workflows.
- Possesses deep financial services industry technical knowledge to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally managing vendor/startup technical evaluations within agile, cloud-native environments.
