About This Role
- Design, architect, and develop highly scalable distributed Block, File, and Object Storage platforms for Kubernetes environments.
- Lead complex engineering initiatives including architecture design, coding, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production deployment of storage software focused on performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and data durability.
- Drive technical strategy and roadmap for storage platforms, including modernization, reusable solutions, and cross-team collaboration and mentorship.
Minimum Requirements
- 12-15 years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Go, or Rust and strong software engineering background in storage and/or distributed systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, Linux, concurrency, networking, and storage I/O; knowledge of NVMe, iSCSI, NFS, S3, SPDK, CSI, UBD.
