About This Role
- Architect and develop scalable Block, File, and Object storage systems tailored for Kubernetes environments.
- Write and optimize high-quality production code in languages such as C++, Go, Rust, or Java targeting performance, availability, and fault tolerance.
- Drive storage architecture design, debug complex distributed system issues, and participate in design/code reviews and mentoring.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in storage, distributed systems, or infrastructure software.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Go, Rust, Java, or equivalent languages.
- Deep knowledge of Block, File, or Object Storage technologies with strong understanding of distributed systems, Linux, networking, and I/O architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized infrastructure; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and building Kubernetes-native storage solutions using CSI, operators, controllers, and CRDs.
- Demonstrates ability to optimize storage systems for IOPS, throughput, latency, and resource efficiency in large-scale distributed environments.
- Skilled at debugging multi-layer issues across Linux, Kubernetes, networking, and storage stacks and mentoring other engineers.
