About This Role
- Build and maintain platform products, services, tools, and backend infrastructure to support high-throughput data and physical AI workflows for Instawork Robotics Labs.
- Own reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, and operational aspects of Kubernetes clusters and multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Shape and execute platform roadmap by collaborating with application engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and cost-optimized solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production software platforms.
- Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters at scale in production.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure preferred), networking, storage, and observability.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and production operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing platform products and backend services supporting robotics, physical AI, or similarly complex, data-intensive workflows.
- Comfortable operating multi-cloud environments and managing cost, capacity planning, and resource optimization within such setups.
- Skilled in Python and Rust programming with a focus on automation, monitoring, and reliability engineering in production contexts.
