Own L2 operational support, advanced troubleshooting, and incident management for IBM Storage box, Tape library, Tivoli backup, and SAN Switch to ensure stable 24x7 operations and SLA adherence.
Perform RCA for recurring issues and handle escalations from L1 teams, including execution of approved changes, patching, upgrades, DR drills, and release coordination.
Maintain technical documentation, coordinate with OEMs/vendors, and ensure compliance with SLA, security, and audit requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 4+ years experience aligned to L2 Senior Analyst responsibility level in storage and backup support.
Hands-on knowledge and operational understanding of IBM Storage box, Tape library, Tivoli backup, and SAN Switch technologies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in B.E./B.Tech/BCA/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Ability to work in shifts supporting 24x7 on-site operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in infrastructure support environments with proven skills in managing vendor/OEM coordination and escalations.
Capable of independently handling incident prioritization, RCA, SOP/documentation maintenance, and ensuring operational hygiene.
Comfortable working on-site in shift-based roles supporting critical storage and backup services with a strong focus on SLA compliance.
