About This Role
- Own end-to-end architecture and solutioning for Trust & Security data and integration capabilities, including roadmaps and migration paths.
- Design and implement real-time streaming solutions using Kafka with high reliability, scalability, and enforce data governance standards.
- Lead solution engineering in Java, build secure high-quality code, design service APIs (REST/GraphQL), and apply distributed systems principles for performance and resiliency.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years applied experience with formal software engineering training or certification.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Cassandra, Oracle, Java, and data publishing to data lakes/platforms (streaming and batch).
- Experience with schema registry, data contract design, REST and GraphQL API development, and strong SDLC discipline (CI/CD, testing, code review).
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and knowledge of responsible AI practices in engineering workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to drive architecture and engineering standards across teams in large-scale production environments focused on Trust & Security domains.
- Strong system design skills applying distributed system fundamentals and operational readiness for streaming and data platform solutions.
- Experience leading AI-assisted engineering adoption, coaching senior engineers on compliance, data sensitivity, security, and resiliency best practices.
