About This Role
- Lead design, development, and delivery of backend services and reusable technology platforms with ownership of assigned microservices including quality, security, scalability, and operational readiness (SLO, SLI, SLA).
- Collaborate with engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders (Product, Design, Marketing) to drive execution of milestones and ensure high-quality software development practices.
- Provide technical mentorship, support L3 engineering issues, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain system stability and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years in software development with at least 2 years in engineering leadership roles.
- Strong design and architectural skills in building scalable, highly available backend products using server-side frameworks like Spring Boot(Java), Node.js, or Golang.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Preferred knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kibana (ELK Stack), RabbitMQ, microservices platforms; familiarity with SDLC including Analysis, Design, Testing, Deployment, and Support.
