About This Role
- Own development and maintenance of a high-availability, low-latency API gateway built on Kong API Gateway using Lua.
- Manage and extend AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation, including services like ECS, DynamoDB, VPC, Route 53, and implement auto-scaling with Docker containers.
- Design, execute, and report on performance testing; develop CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins; collaborate across teams for API governance and monitoring using CloudWatch and observability tools.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Lua, Kong, or Golang and experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure management including DynamoDB, ECS, and observability dashboards (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with distributed API gateway platforms and microservices architectures in cloud environments, especially AWS.
- Strong operational focus on high-availability services with expertise in performance tuning, monitoring, and CI/CD automation.
- Familiarity with telephony or call center domains and experience coordinating with multiple remote teams under fast-paced and hybrid work models.
