About This Role
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain POS and payment applications for Android-based payment terminals across the full software stack.
- Implement and manage ISO 8583 messaging, Terminal Management Systems, and payment transaction flows to deliver secure, reliable payment solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on API design, debugging complex multi-layer issues, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with POS/payment systems including ISO 8583 messaging and Terminal Management Systems (TMS).
- Proficient in C, C++, Java, and Kotlin for Android application development.
- Experience with REST API integration, Android SDK, and tools like Android Studio, Visual Studio, Git, and Postman.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working across embedded payment devices and Android application layers for POS terminals.
- Technical leadership skills demonstrated by taking ownership of complex problems and mentoring others.
- Background in payment, banking, fintech, retail, or transaction-processing domains preferred.
