About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and big data platforms primarily using Cloudera ecosystem technologies.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, ensuring best practices and delivery excellence in data engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to support analytics, reporting, and technical solution design.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong expertise in Cloudera Data Platform and Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie.
- Proficiency in programming using PySpark, SQL, and Java, and experience with ETL & data warehousing concepts.
- Location strictly Hyderabad with immediate to 30 days notice period; initial 8 weeks work from office then hybrid work model.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in operating within large-scale financial services or enterprise environments supporting critical data workflows.
- Technically hands-on with strong leadership skills, balancing 80% technical work and 20% mentoring and technical decision-making.
- Comfortable working in hybrid onsite-offsite model with shift timing of 11am-8pm in Hyderabad.
