About This Role
- Own and expand automated end-to-end test coverage for a fast-evolving security platform using Playwright.
- Maintain and improve test suite reliability, manage flaky tests, staging environment stability, and CI pipeline integration.
- Use AI-assisted tools (like Claude and LLM-based browsers) to augment exploratory testing and uncover bugs beyond scripted tests.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years of QA, software testing, or test automation experience preferred; candidates with less experience considered if strong automation skills demonstrated.
- Strong TypeScript skills for writing clean, maintainable test code.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Working hours aligned with U.S. business hours (remote role).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proactive engineer who takes full ownership of testing goals and can work independently without step-by-step instructions.
- Experienced in diagnosing and fixing flaky tests and building test infrastructure in complex web environments.
- Comfortable integrating AI tools into QA workflows and collaborating closely with frontend and backend engineers in a small, fast-paced team.
