About This Role
- Administer, support, and optimize VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and VMware Cloud Foundation environments ensuring performance, availability, and compliance across production, DR, and UAT.
- Manage VMware clusters including HA, DRS, vMotion, and storage environments such as Dell VxRail and vSAN, overseeing lifecycle management, capacity, and hardware maintenance.
- Provide L2/L3 incident and problem management including troubleshooting VM performance and infrastructure issues, automating tasks using PowerCLI/PowerShell, and maintaining operational documentation and governance.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on VMware infrastructure operations experience, including ESXi 7.x/8.x, vCenter, vSphere HA, DRS, vMotion.
- Proficiency with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and experience supporting Dell VxRail or equivalent Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
- Experience working in enterprise or financial-services environments with ITIL-based operational processes.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years VMware infrastructure operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in large-scale VMware environments and lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades, and compliance remediation within enterprise contexts.
- Skilled in automation using PowerCLI/PowerShell and monitoring platforms such as VMware Aria Operations and ServiceNow.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across compute, storage, and network layers, with knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability management, and IT compliance demands.
