About This Role
- Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies for electro-mechanical commodities including pumps, VFD, PHE, controllers, SS piping, flow control valves, electrical components, sensors, and panels.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and supply continuity across project-based and operational needs in the region.
- Lead cost reduction, supplier development, risk mitigation, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration to support business growth and sourcing compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, supplier development, or supply chain, with demonstrated experience sourcing mechanical products/components.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, data sheets, and supplier proposals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems; Power BI or similar analytics tools preferred; fluency in business English; regional/global travel willingness.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically credible and commercially strong sourcing professional capable of translating business demand into actionable commodity strategies.
- Experienced in managing ambiguity and influencing cross-functional, regional, and global stakeholders without direct authority.
- Comfortable working in project-based, engineered-to-order or high-mix, low-volume environments, preferably with exposure to thermal/HVAC, data centers, large infrastructure, or related manufacturing sectors.
