About This Role
- Own end-to-end architecture and solution development for Trust & Security data and integration capabilities, including roadmaps and production-ready designs.
- Design and implement real-time streaming solutions with Kafka, ensuring reliability, scalability, and data governance.
- Lead Java-based solution engineering for services and pipelines, including data store architecture (Cassandra, Oracle), API design (REST, GraphQL), and application of distributed system principles.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years formal applied software engineering experience with senior-level judgment.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka design and implementation, data publishing to lake/platform (streaming or batch), Cassandra, Oracle, and Java services.
- Experience with schema registries/data contracts and building APIs/integrations using REST and GraphQL.
- Proven expertise in SDLC practices (CI/CD, testing, code review), production support mindset, and experience leading AI-assisted software development tools responsibly.

- Experienced engineer skilled at integrating complex data architectures with strong governance in large-scale production environments.
- Capable of independently driving innovation, pragmatic technology evaluation, and setting engineering standards across teams without direct management.
