About This Role
- Collaborate within the Benefits Technology team to design, build, test, and maintain high-quality software and automated test solutions using TDD, BDD, and Microservice/VSA architectures.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance code efficiency and quality while supporting rapid incident response and continuous service improvement.
- Analyze and improve operational metrics, system health, and automation coverage including UI, API, and integration testing in a QA environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 months of software engineering work experience.
- Mandatory skills: C#, Python (if applicable), automated testing and test automation practices, OOP and SOLID design principles, building and consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices; strong aptitude for integrating AI/ML-driven development workflows in SDLC.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Junior-level engineer with focus on continuous learning and development under senior mentorship within an agile, collaborative team environment.
- Experience or strong understanding of test automation and software quality improvement in enterprise or product-based development.
- Interest or experience in adopting AI-powered development tools and modern software practices including microservices and cloud-native infrastructure.
