About This Role
- Own testing strategy and execution in a multi-functional Agile team with minimal QA support.
- Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated tests including API, UI, regression, and functional tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and drive QA improvements including process and automation workflow enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software development or QA automation experience using Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
- Proficiency with testing REST APIs and frameworks like Playwright, Jest, Cucumber; programming in TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD and using CLI tools such as Git.
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to guide junior team members.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working independently as the primary QA in Agile, cross-functional teams, capable of ownership and mentorship.
- Proficient in automation-first QA approaches with solid knowledge of modern JS/TS test frameworks and API testing.
- Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders in dynamic product development environments focused on energy tech or similar domains.
