About This Role
- Manage and improve automated test execution in the Lamdatest environment, focusing on test reliability, speed, and coverage.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and integrate tests within CI/CD pipelines to strengthen quality gates and developer experience.
- Analyze and troubleshoot failures across multiple layers, collaborating with engineering teams to improve application testability and post-release validation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, quality engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, with hands-on experience maintaining automation frameworks.
- Experience with automated UI and API testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman), managing test execution in shared/non-production environments, and integrating with CI/CD platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing centralized automated test environments and standardizing automation practices across multiple engineering teams.
- Demonstrates strong troubleshooting abilities across application, automation, environment, and infrastructure layers, with familiarity in modern CI/CD tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, Github Actions.
- Hands-on knowledge of automation architecture, flaky test mitigation, cloud environments (AWS), microservices, SQL validation, and observability tools to improve test reliability and developer workflows.
