Ensure optimal performance and uptime of databases across SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle platforms by monitoring alerts and managing resource utilization.
Administer database user accounts and security, including creating/modifying accounts and managing permissions to comply with security policies.
Manage incident tickets, execute maintenance scripts, perform backups verification, support failover and migration activities, and generate operational and audit reports to meet regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements
2-4 years total experience with at least 2-3 years in operational database support across SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related discipline.
Experience with database backup & restore processes, incident and alert management, and user administration in enterprise environments.
Work Experience Required: 2-4 years with emphasis on operational support in specified database platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong hands-on experience managing multi-platform database environments including SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle with proven troubleshooting capabilities.
Experience administering related middleware technologies (e.g. Weblogic, WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, NGINX) and familiarity with enterprise integration platforms (BIZTALK, CFI/MFT).
Certified or pursuing certifications such as Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle DBA Professional, or PostgreSQL/SQL Server administration to demonstrate advanced proficiency.
