About This Role
- Lead design, development, and evolution of next-gen benefits infrastructure within YouTube Commerce.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring coding standards and architectural compliance.
- Collaborate with tech leads and cross-functional teams to accelerate paid product ecosystem and benefits platformization.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years programming experience in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go.
- 5 years experience in testing and launching software products.
- 3 years experience in software design and architecture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in technical leadership roles with responsibility for setting technical direction and mentoring teams.
- Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and large-scale system design relevant to B2B or e-commerce, preferably with C++ expertise.
- Ability to collaborate across distributed teams and align with broader architectural efforts in complex product ecosystems.
