About This Role
- Own the end-to-end technical lifecycle of a critical platform area including planning, designing, coding, production running, and quality assurance.
- Lead agile processes such as sprint planning, delivery commitments, and release readiness to ensure predictable team delivery.
- Mentor 3-4 junior engineers (SDE-I) to full ownership of features, oversee production health, alerts, incident response, and automate workflows including AI-assisted tools usage.
Minimum Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience building and operating production software with real module or service ownership.
- Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL/relational data modeling.
- Demonstrable system design capability with trade-off analysis.
- Work Experience Required: 2–4 years building and operating production software.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced mid-level engineer comfortable with full life-cycle ownership in a retail/technology platform environment.
- Strong system design and debugging skills especially on live, high-throughput systems.
- Proficient in technical communication including writing clear design documents and mentoring junior engineers.
