About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress with JavaScript (Node.js).
- Implement and execute API automation testing to improve test coverage and validate integrations.
- Manage defect lifecycle and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress for automation testing.
- Experience with API automation testing and knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent; role based in Pune with potential travel within India and internationally.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both manual and automation testing within modern Agile development environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test suites and experience with version control systems like Git.
- Capable of analyzing business requirements to create comprehensive test plans and quality strategies while managing defect processes independently.
