About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions for financial applications using Java and Microservices architecture.
- Develop and optimize Java Webservices, ensuring unit and integration test coverage following TDD practices.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver projects on time, deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (Azure preferred), mentor junior developers.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in Financial Services or Banking (desirable, not essential).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservice design, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, REST services, domain-driven design, unit/integration testing (JUnit, Mockito).
- Experience with RDBMS (PostgresSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB), Git, CI/CD, basic cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Docker/Kubernetes).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer skilled in Java-based microservice architectures within financial domain context.
- Operates effectively in Agile environments with strong focus on test-driven development and automation testing frameworks.
- Comfortable with cloud deployment and version control systems, able to mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous process improvements.
