About This Role
- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements or new products for core commercial applications.
- Work on enhancement and support projects for FIS Securities Processing Manager PHASE3, a real-time order-to-settlement securities processing system.
- Support product quality through recreating, documenting client issues, troubleshooting, and collaborating with product managers and users to define system requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in HP Tandem COBOL programming or related.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Proficiency in COBOL on HP Tandem (Non-Stop TANDEM) systems and basic SQL query skills.
- Fluent in English with ability to communicate technical and commercial solutions effectively.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced HP Tandem COBOL programmer familiar with utilities such as FUP, TACL, Pathway, Batchcom.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as part of a global team supporting a real-time securities processing product.
- Organized, detail-oriented individual with a track record of high-quality documentation and client-focused troubleshooting.
