About This Role
- Ensure quality and reliability of Evolute’s devices including POS, biometric, Android, embedded, and peripherals across multiple countries.
- Execute end-to-end testing activities such as functional, integration, regression, and device testing including hardware-software integration and communication interfaces.
- Support pre-release validation and release sign-off processes with clear defect feedback and documentation to minimize field defects and ensure timely releases.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of software testing experience, preferably in product-based or hardware-integrated environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or related field.
- Mandatory skills: advanced manual functional regression testing, Android device/application testing, test case design, STLC/SDLC knowledge, and intermediate hardware-software integration testing.
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools (Jira), basic source control (Git/SVN), and test communication protocols (Bluetooth, USB, UART, Wi-Fi).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing hardware-integrated devices and peripherals with strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced product development environments, owning end-to-end test execution and validation for at least one product line.
- Capable of contributing to scalable, repeatable QA processes and collaborating cross-functionally with Development and Product teams.
