About This Role
- Define and own system design and architecture for scalable, resilient, multi-system services with clear data flows and integration strategies.
- Lead design and implementation of advanced Java-based APIs and microservices including RESTful API design, microservices patterns, and performance optimizations.
- Drive deployment and operation of cloud-hosted applications on AWS ensuring security, cost efficiency, monitoring, reliability, and engineering standards enforcement.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience delivering production Java services and APIs in enterprise environments.
- Prior experience in team leadership roles involving sprint execution, mentoring, and cross-team coordination.
- Proven ability to lead complex multi-system projects from design through delivery including managing dependencies and trade-offs.
- Experience designing and operating cloud-hosted applications on AWS focusing on security, monitoring, and cost considerations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in producing and communicating architecture artifacts like HLD/LLD and sequence diagrams to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated technical ownership including enforcing engineering standards, code reviews, and mentoring engineers through actionable feedback.
- Skilled in performance optimization across JVM, APIs, DB queries, and network calls, as well as in implementing observability and reliability best practices.
