About This Role
- Design and implement high-performance, highly reliable systems with six 9’s availability, focusing on scale-out all-flash file and object storage.
- Own end-to-end innovation from concept through to delivered product, engaging across product management, development, validation, support, and customers.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems, collaborating with peers and stakeholders to improve how modern applications (e.g. AI, Splunk, Kafka) work with data.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of developer-level Linux platform experience with strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Java, Go or similar languages.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, threads, synchronization, and concurrent programming.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for architecture and design discussion with multiple stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in working with distributed systems, operating systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compilers.
- Has hands-on development experience in storage domain or related technologies, with ability to make strategic architectural decisions.
- Operates effectively in collaborative environments with cross-functional teams and customers to drive high availability enterprise infrastructure products.
