About This Role
- Lead the development and engineering of robust, scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern UI frameworks within financial services.
- Own architectural design, secure coding practices, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and software release processes.
- Manage teams in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborate with business sponsors, product owners, and cross-functional partners, ensuring operational resilience and issue resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience in application development and engineering management in Financial Services or banking.
- 12+ years as Java/J2EE Applications Development Manager, Engineering Lead, or Application Management Lead.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Angular or modern UI frameworks, PL/SQL, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and proven people management and stakeholder management skills.

- Experienced technical leader with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade financial applications using modern architectures and disciplined SDLC.
- Proficient in balancing hands-on coding, architectural design, and team leadership, while driving operational governance and problem resolution.
- Comfortable collaborating with production support, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to maintain high system availability and implement continuous improvements.
