About This Role
- Maintain and monitor SAS product build processes and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure successful and timely build executions.
- Troubleshoot build failures by analyzing logs and performing remediation to maintain stable build environments.
- Develop and enhance automation scripts and maintain build configurations and documentation to improve operational efficiency and build reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Build Engineering, DevOps Support, Release Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows Server command-line interfaces.
- Proficient in Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline support, including build monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Mandatorily skilled in scripting (Python and/or Java, Groovy, Ant, Shell scripting, PowerShell), OOP concepts, build/config files (XML, YAML), and source code management with GitHub and Gerrit.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in build automation with strong troubleshooting skills focusing on analyzing build and system logs for root cause analysis.
- Capable of working independently with ownership and collaborating effectively with development and engineering teams.
- Strong operational focus on continuous integration and build process improvements within an R&D or software development environment.
