About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices and distributed systems for network security products with focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical solutions, drive software quality through reviews and testing, and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in architecture discussions to influence best practices and contribute to product roadmaps.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 8-12 years of relevant work experience in software engineering, particularly in network security or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, NAT, DNS, DHCP, VPN, HTTP/HTTPS and network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS inspection.
- Onsite work requirement primarily from an HPE office location.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable, container-based microservices and distributed systems using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Technical expertise in next-generation firewall (NGFW) development, including both control plane and data plane software components.
- Ability to drive complex technical decisions independently, contribute to architecture, and mentor junior engineers in a high-performance engineering environment.
