About This Role
- Design, develop, and enhance software for systems including networking, VPN, and PKI with strong focus on Linux/Unix environments.
- Lead project teams and collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners to deliver reliable and cost-effective software solutions.
- Write and execute test plans, debug software, mentor less-experienced staff, and communicate project status and technical decisions to management.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of software development experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Hands-on expertise in C/C++ programming and developing Linux/Unix-based software systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing protocols), VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL/TLS), and PKI.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading software projects and interfacing with multiple stakeholders including outsourced teams.
- Proficient in designing complex network security products with hands-on coding and testing experience.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment requiring collaboration and detailed communication on technical architecture.
