Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure Java applications using Snowflake Native App Framework and SQL for data-intensive workloads.
Build and manage Snowflake Native App components including application packages, manifests, roles, permissions, versioning, and upgrades.
Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend services, APIs, cloud integrations, and ensure performance, security, and application lifecycle management.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience delivering production-grade applications.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, SQL (complex queries, stored procedures), and Snowflake Native App Framework.
Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, system integrations, and Snowflake data platform capabilities including Snowpark.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven ability to independently own complex Java and Snowflake Native App development tasks with strong backend and SQL optimization skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and secure software development practices including RBAC and data-sharing within Snowflake.
Familiarity with application lifecycle management, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile/Scrum environments for enterprise or data platform software.
