About This Role
- Own design and implementation of MACsec and MKA protocol stack features within networking products.
- Collaborate with customers and product teams to define requirements and deliver solutions, including triaging issues and improving performance and scalability.
- Lead technical review processes and mentor new hires while tracking project delivery to customers.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience with MACsec and MKA protocol stack development, including IEEE 802.1X-2010/2020 MKA and IEEE 802.1AE standards.
- Strong AI experience with Claude is required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in networking product software development such as routers, switches, or security appliances with solid debugging and Linux/Unix environment skills.
- Capable of handling complex system-level network security protocol issues with robust solutions and strong collaboration skills.
- Familiar with advanced network security concepts including cryptographic algorithms, multi-vendor interoperability, and management interfaces like OpenConfig/YANG.
