About This Role
- Translate customer requirements into software design and develop complex packet forwarding features including IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall/Filter, CoS, DHCP, and other services.
- Analyze, debug, and fix complex microkernel/Linux issues and enhance unit test automation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation, resolve complex customer issues, and maintain existing features.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (B.E or B.Tech) from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong skills in C/C++ and Python programming with strong networking background.
- Onsite work requirement at HPE office; experience with software development on routers/switches and datapath ASICs (Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot, or other NPU) is highly desirable but not mandatory.

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time within product development life cycles.
- Technically strong individual contributor with deep understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and debugging complex Linux/microkernel issues.
