About This Role
- Own and manage cluster architecture and delivery across cloud (AKS) and edge (K3s) environments for restaurants.
- Implement and maintain automated edge deployment including cluster provisioning, lifecycle management, and GitOps-driven rollouts using Spectro Cloud (Palette) and Flux.
- Oversee traffic routing, load balancing, autoscaling, and edge resiliency including disaster recovery across distributed clusters with tools like Traefik, Calico CNI, Azure Arc, and monitoring stacks (Prometheus/Grafana/Azure Monitor).
Minimum Requirements
- 7-15 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes cluster management across cloud (AKS) and edge (K3s) environments.
- Experience with edge deployment automation using Spectro Cloud (Palette) and Flux (GitOps).
- Deep knowledge of traffic routing/load balancing (Traefik), autoscaling, networking (Calico CNI), and disaster recovery practices in edge/cloud Kubernetes clusters.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with managing multi-tenant, distributed Kubernetes clusters in constrained, intermittent-connectivity restaurant environments.
- Capable of implementing automated, rollback-safe deployment pipelines and fleet-wide visibility/health monitoring.
- Skilled at tuning autoscaling and network policies for edge hardware limitations and operational resilience.
