Senior Software Engineer (C++, Parser /Compiler Development)

Lead design, architecture, and delivery of large-scale parser engines, compiler-like components, and language analysis pipelines ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Drive architectural decisions and technical direction for parsing and compiler-adjacent subsystems, including grammar design, AST construction, and semantic analysis for multiple source languages like JCL, COBOL, and SQL.

Serve as escalation point for complex debugging and production issues in parsing/grammar, mentor engineers, and lead deep technical reviews to improve parsing accuracy and performance.

8+ years of professional software engineering experience with proven delivery of complex parsing, compiler, or language-processing systems.

Expert proficiency in C++ with strong understanding of compiler fundamentals including lexical analysis, parsing techniques (LL/LR), and AST design.

Hands-on experience with parser/grammar tooling like ANTLR, yacc/bison, or equivalent and SQL expertise across SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.

Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux environments, advanced Qt Core expertise, and experience with containerization (Docker).

Experienced leader capable of driving technical direction in parsing framework design, grammar management, and evolving parsing platforms in enterprise environments.

Deep domain expertise in compiler theory, parsing strategies, language evolution, and experience with legacy language formats or mainframe source parsing is desirable.

Operates autonomously to deliver complex enhancements and align with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strategic curiosity and innovation mindset in parsing and compiler technologies.
