Tier-1 brand and mid-level Bengaluru role increase competition but specialized embedded skills moderate density.
Automotive embedded requires automotive, semiconductor, and firmware expertise, limiting cross-industry transferability.
Explicit 4+ years plus mandatory C/ARM bare-metal and driver development make filters stringent.
Own end-to-end embedded software development lifecycle including requirements, design, development, and testing for automotive systems.
Develop and debug bare metal high-performance real-time software on ARM Cortex microcontrollers, FPGA, emulators, and silicon platforms.
Implement and maintain communication protocol drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and interface effectively with hardware using test equipment and configuration management tools.
Strong proficiency in C programming for ARM Cortex microcontrollers and bare metal programming experience.
Experience in embedded software development covering requirements, design, development, and testing phases.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in semiconductor development or related automotive embedded domain.
Experience with low-level driver development and communication protocols, including familiarity with AUTOSAR MCAL and application layers, sensor synchronization, and embedded OS (Zephyr, FreeRTOS).
Comfortable working with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and configuration management (GIT) in an Agile environment using Atlassian tools.
Has exposure to automotive domain technologies, especially ADAS and Radar signal processing, and understands embedded RTOS and middleware implementations.
