About This Role
- Own and develop cloud-based infrastructure solutions focusing on operational reliability, including architecting, deploying, and managing databases, compute instances, and storage in GCP.
- Automate workflows to improve efficiency, implement IT security best practices, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical leadership within cross-functional teams.
- Act as a liaison between Global Technical Operations and other groups, participating in on-call rotation and managing multiple projects and daily operational tasks.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or SRE specialising in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Open ToFu, or Terragrunt and configuration management tools (Ansible preferred).
- Experience architecting GCP tenants, folder structures, and CI/CD pipelines; working knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, networking, security, and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Stackdriver).
- Experience with at least one programming/scripting language (Go, Python, or Bash).

- Skilled in cross-team collaboration and able to translate technical solutions for varied audiences including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with limited requirements, managing multiple priorities, and participating in on-call rotations, demonstrating operational leadership in cloud environments.
